    Since 2007, the Ohio Workforce Coalition brings together leaders from education and training institutions, economic and workforce development organizations, business and industry, labor, and human service providers. The Coalition promotes public policies that build the skills of adult workers, meet employer skill needs, and strengthen the workforce system to ensure opportunity and prosperity for Ohio families.

State agencies, advocates, and associations attend Ohio Workforce Coalition’s spring meeting

View the agenda and presentations from the United Way of Central Ohio, Ohio Department of Development, and Ohio Board of Regents.  After hearing updates about what’s new at Ohio’s state agencies, representatives from The Ohio Associaton of Community Colleges, Ohio Job and Family Services Directors Association, and WSOS Community Action talked about what issues their members and customers are facing at the federal level and what it means for their work in Ohio.
