Community Small Grant Program

From the Ohio Attorney General’s office:

Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray is announcing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Community Small Grant Program, which will support nonprofit (501c3) organizations located in Ohio. Grants from $2,000 to $10,000 will be awarded for innovative projects that address local needs related to youth and families, the elderly, people with disabilities and others.

Application deadline is 4pm Weds, Sept 15, 2010

These funds are generated primarily through legal settlements to which the Attorney General is a party. They have been used in the past for a variety of projects, such as community holiday meals for families who are homeless, adult day services for senior citizens, summer camping and mentoring programs for youth, and outdoor rehabilitation programs for people with disabilities. We look forward to hearing how you would use these grant funds to help your community.
