Planning for the Future: What Women Need to Know About Social Security, Pensions and Savings

Women have a higher risk of poverty in retirement than men. As a result, Social Security, pensions and savings are especially critical for women, but many do not know how to best take advantage of these programs or how to "catch up" if they’ve gotten behind.

Sound familiar? In order to help women prepare for retirement, the National Women’s Law Center is hosting a two-part series of webinars for service providers, advocates, and individuals. These webinars are free, but registration is required:

Planning for the Future: What Women Need to Know About Social Security
1:00 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday, September 8, 2010
