    Since 2007, the Ohio Workforce Coalition has been bringing together leaders from education and training institutions, economic and workforce development organizations, business and industry, labor, and human service providers. The Coalition promotes public policies that build the skills of adult workers, meet employer skill needs, and strengthen the workforce system to ensure opportunity and prosperity for Ohio families.

Ohio WIA Program Year 2009 report available

The 2009 program report for Ohio’s workforce investment programs is now available at http://www.doleta.gov/performance/results/AnnualReports/PY2009/OH_PY_2009_State_Data_Book.pdf.

According to the report, in PY 2009, Ohio met 8 of 9 negotiated performance goals and served 79,947 adults, dislocated workers, and youth at at average cost per participant of $2,360.  Check back soon for further analysis.
