    Since 2007, the Ohio Workforce Coalition brings together leaders from education and training institutions, economic and workforce development organizations, business and industry, labor, and human service providers. The Coalition promotes public policies that build the skills of adult workers, meet employer skill needs, and strengthen the workforce system to ensure opportunity and prosperity for Ohio families.

CRP presents OWC to House Economic and Small Business Development Committee

Today Roberta Garber, Executive Director of Community Research Partners, tesified before the House Economic and Small Business Development Committee.  The testimony was developed to share information about workforce development with the committee before legislation starts moving.  The committee also received copies of the Coalition’s 2010-2012 Public Policy Platform.  You can read Ms. Garber’s testimony here.
