The Ohio Economic Development Association is now accepting nominations for the 2011 Annual Excellence Awards where the organization will recognize achievements made in the areas of economic and workforce development by individuals and organizations in Ohio. There are 5 award categories:
- Best Project
- Excellence in Economic Development Marketing
- Excellence in Economic Development Innovation
- Excellence in Workforce Development Innovation
- Excellence in Volunteerism
Eligible nominees for all categories are individuals or organizations that “operate within Ohio and may be a community-based or non-government organization, a government agency, or a private for profit organization.” Nominations will be accepted through August 26, 2011. Nominations are free for current OEDA members and $50 per nomination for non-members. Self-nominations are encouraged and the winners will be announced during the OEDA annual summit held October 26-28, 2011 in Columbus.
