    Since 2007, the Ohio Workforce Coalition brings together leaders from education and training institutions, economic and workforce development organizations, business and industry, labor, and human service providers. The Coalition promotes public policies that build the skills of adult workers, meet employer skill needs, and strengthen the workforce system to ensure opportunity and prosperity for Ohio families.

ODJFS offers education sessions in October, releases policies for the implementation of the WIOA Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth Programs

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services will host a four-day educational event for Ohio’s workforce development community to provide information on the implementation of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) on Oct. 20-23, 2015, at the Hyatt Regency Columbus, 350 North High Street. Program, registration and hotel information will be provided in August 2015. For more information, email WIAQNA@jfs.ohio.gov.
