The federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) took effect on July 1. As states move from the theoretical to the practical, what do adult educators need to know? Join COABE and NSC for a hands-on review of WIOA’s key implications for the adult education field.

Presenter Amanda Bergson-Shilcock will provide an overview of the current WIOA landscape, including opportunities for adult educators to weigh in on implementation issues in their states and localities. Webinar participants also will have the opportunity to respond to several quick polls during the webinar, and submit their WIOA questions for the presenter to address. Don’t miss this useful conversation — register today!

About the Presenter

Amanda Bergson-Shilcock is a Senior Policy Analyst at NSC. She has more than a decade of experience in adult education and immigration issues.
