Just in! ODJFS Director Lumpkin to attend OWC Legislative Reception

Director Doug Lumpkin will be representing the Strickland-Brown campaign at tomorrow’s Legislative Reception! The reception, from 5-7pm at the Statehouse Atrium, will celebrate the launch of the Ohio Workforce Coalition’s 2010-2012 Public Policy Platform.  Director Lumpkin will be providing brief remarks about the Governor’s workforce development priorities.  Email rkusner@researchpartners.org to save your spot.

Let’s represent Ohio! NAWDP 2011 Annual Conference Call for Proposal


The National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) is seeking proposals for workshops at its 2011 Annual Conference, Turning the Tide, which will be held May 16-19, 2011 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Workshops are 75 minutes and should encompass best practices, which have demonstrated measures of success. Potential presenters will be asked to submit proposals for one of seven tracks:
